The OLAES Modular Trauma Bandage is a quickly deployable and applicable pressure bandage of the latest generation, which has been officially used since 2011 by customs, federal police, financial administration and many others as an emergency bandage pack. The advantages of this trauma bandage are its versatility: it is packed with 3 m of pressed gauze and a removable airtight dressing in the wound pad. In addition, the bandage is equipped with a pressure applicator, which can also serve as an eye shield. By means of Velcro holders, unintentional unrolling is prevented, and the stowed gauze can be easily removed. Neither additional hooks nor clips, which complicate application, are needed. The Velcro strips hold the OLAES® bandage securely in place. Thanks to the transparent viewing window, it is possible to check at any time whether the bleeding has been stopped.
