Heavy Skeleton Cummerbund

A Strong Upgrade!

The TERRA B Heavy Skeleton Cummerbund holds your soft ballistic sleeve (e.g. Overt Soft Ballistic Vest) or your plate carrier (e.g. Overt Plate Carrier) firmly to the body. Whether as a VELCRO® variant or with 2M ROC buckle – this cummerbund combines a high degree of stability and robustness with excellent flexible properties. This allows you to easily attach heavier, as well as larger gear to your side flanks, yet the cummerbund adapts to your movement and takes on a supportive function. Difference to the Light Skeleton Cummerbund: A larger MOLLE area allows you to accommodate larger equipment. In addition, the supporting properties are intensified by the wide material surface.

Features

The material composition is the highlight of this TERRA B product and creates this enormous stability with a simultaneous flexibility. Here, CORDURA® 500 den laminate is combined with an innovative light-weight material made of thermoplastic plastic, which is enormously resistant, weatherproof and unbreakable due to a special manufacturing process, but at the same time flexible and movable. Attachment of equipment is possible both outside and inside via the lasercut MOLLE system on the cummerbund.

Hook and Loop System:

The Heavy Skeleton cummerbund is mounted to the soft ballistic sleeve (e.g. Overt Soft Ballistic Vest) or to the plate carrier (e.g. TERRA B Discreet Plate Carrier) at the front using the hook and loop system. The existing VELCRO® provides enough hold to securely connect the various placards or rigs to the plate carrier cummerbund system. On the plate carrier back, the cummerbund is attached using the hook and loop system.

Quick-Release 2M ROC System:

The cummerbund is mounted to the soft ballistic sleeve (e.g. Overt Soft Ballistic Vest) or to the plate carrier (e.g. the TERRA B Overt Plate Carrier) using the hook and loop system of the ROC adapter. The Quick-Release 2M ROC buckles allow you as the carrier to open the plate carrier abruptly in an emergency. In addition, you adjust your plate carrier only once to your body circumference and only have to operate the quick-release buckles to put it on and take it off. Placards do not have to be removed when putting on and taking off the plate carrier. The cummerbund is attached to the back of the plate carrier by means of a VELCRO® system.

Sizes

The sizes of the Heavy Skeleton Cummerbund differ in the cummerbund length. This is measured from the beginning of the front VELCRO® surface (Hook and loop system) or the middle of the ROC buckle (ROC system) to the beginning of the rear VELCRO® surface (see graphic).
